Meet the new Evolus™ Jeuveau™—a new FDA-approved injectable treatment that temporarily improves the look of frown lines in adults. It was FDA approved in the United States in 2019 and has been used in Asia for several years under the name Nabota. It comes in 100 unit vials, similar to Botox.
What is the difference between Jeuveau and Botox?
Like Botox, Jeuveau is used to temporarily improve the appearance of frown lines between the eyebrows. Jeuveau is purely cosmetic, unlike Botox, which has indications for medical and cosmetic use. Jeuveau like Botox prevents your nerves from telling your facial muscles to flex. The result? In clinical trials, Jeuveau was shown to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines. In 2 long-term safety studies, patients received an average of 3 treatments over the course of 1 year. Another exciting possible benefit is that Jeuveau could last longer than other wrinkle relaxers. During head-to-head clinical studies, many subjects receiving Jeuveau reported a slightly longer duration of effect.
Each wrinkle relaxer on the market has a similar effect but slightly different personality; to find which personality fits you best schedule your consultation today.
